Tea Monk

This is a figurine for tea ceremonies, symbolizing calmness, wisdom, and inner balance. Its purpose is to remind that any tea drinking is not just about taste, but also about state of mind.
The monk holds prayer beads in his hands. They represent the constant flow of thoughts that need to be released, leaving only tea and a clear mind at the table.
During tea spills on the tea board, it is doused with tea—this is a sign of respect to the spirits of tea drinking and a wish for harmony in the home.
Over time, from tea spills, the monk darkens, acquires a noble patina, and becomes part of your tea history.
